Polyurethane Coatings
  • Nitrocellulose paint is largely used as a relatively uncommon type of varnish and is most commonly used in applications where it is required to give a timber finish, such as in the case of musical instruments (like guitars and saxophones). It is also used as car paint in the automobile industry, or for painting of some aircraft components. Further, nitrocellulose lacquer is used in the manufacturing of specific type of phonograph records (called acetate discs), by coating the lacquer onto aluminum or glass disc and then a cutting a groove, which may then be used as masters or in dance clubs.

A ) Aromatic P.U. Coating
Recommended for original equipment coating, hygienic, maintenance coating where moderate chemical resistance is required...
It gives good decorative finish.
It is fast drying and has a glossy look.
Excellent weathering and abrasion resistance. .
A durable, easy to clean coat with good gloss and colour retention .
B ) Alliphatic P.U. Coating
Recommended especially to be used as a single coat finish for agricultural and earth moving machinery and other machinery and equipment.
Suitable also to be used as a topcoat in epoxy/polyurethane systems exposed to weathering and chemical stress, e.g. storage tank exteriors, steel framework and other steel structures.
Excellent weathering and abrasion resistance.
A durable, easy to clean and non-chalking topcoat with good gloss and colour
A suitable undercoat / primer is suggested depending upon the application.
